Accessibility

FuelFriend should be usable by parents with different abilities, devices and ways of navigating.

We’re building toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Evaluation is ongoing; we are not claiming full conformance.

Using the website

What we’ve checked

We’ve checked responsive layouts, keyboard navigation and automated accessibility rules in a Chromium-based browser. We also checked the guided Freddie question flow in macOS Safari at 200% page zoom, plus core interactions in Safari on a real iPhone through iPhone Mirroring. That iPhone test used a Mac keyboard and pointer. It did not reproduce every direct-touch or onscreen-keyboard interaction.

Known limitations and work in progress

Full VoiceOver and TalkBack testing, Android device testing and the iPhone’s full onscreen-keyboard layout remain outstanding. The illustrated phone has its own scrollable content; use the “Open your example day” link to reach it, or Shift+Tab to return to the food-planning controls. JavaScript is needed for interactive examples and guided Freddie conversations; the rest of the page content remains readable without it.

The public website does not require an account. Separate protected review previews may use Vercel’s sign-in page.

Tell us about a barrier

Email support@fuelfriend.app with the page, what you were trying to do and your browser or assistive technology if you’re comfortable sharing it. You don’t need to include your child’s information. We’ll work with you to help you access the information.
